Key Features
Self Assessment
NASA TLX Self-Assessment: Utilize the NASA Task Load Index (TLX) to self-assess mental workload and Cognitive fatigue. This scientifically validated tool helps you understand the demands of your activities and adjust accordingly.
Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE): Track your physical and mental exertion levels with the RPE scale, a simple and effective way to monitor how hard you’re working during physical activities.
Likert Scales: Conduct self-assessments with customizable Likert scales to gauge your subjective experience of Cognitive fatigue and performance.
Standard Cognitive Assessments
Finger Tap Test: Measure motor speed and dexterity by tapping your fingers on the screen as quickly as possible.
Trail Making Test A & B: Assess visual attention and task-switching capabilities with these classic neuropsychological tests.
N-Back Test: Evaluate your working memory and Cognitive control by responding to stimuli presented a certain number of steps back.
Stroop Test: Test your Cognitive flexibility and ability to inhibit Cognitive interference by naming the color of the word, not the word itself.
Karolinska Sleepiness Scale: Self-assess your level of sleepiness and alertness to understand how sleep impacts your Cognitive performance.
Sleep Quality Assessment: Track and evaluate your sleep patterns and quality to ensure you’re well-rested for optimal Cognitive function.
Spatial Memory Test: Challenge your spatial awareness and memory with tasks that require remembering and manipulating spatial information.
Paced Visual Serial Addition Test (PVSAT): Measure your information processing speed and working memory with this timed addition test.
9-Hole Peg Test: Assess fine motor control and coordination by placing and removing pegs from a board as quickly as possible.
COGNI Technology Applied:
Deep learning and Accelerometry
Human fatigue with accelerometer and deep learning
The project calibrated a trail running track against satellite imagery and performed a 24 hour fatigue protocol to gather lab data and sensor data for acceleration, ECG and GPS. The pipeline shown above fused the data, trained two CNN deep learning models provided outputs for terrain the and fatigue level.
COGNI gathered all self assessment results and cognitive tests, allowing reliable and quick turn around of gold standard clinical grade assessments.
MATB was used to provide an exact 10 minute cognitive load every hour as part of the physical and cognitive loads in the experiment.
Fatigue analysis pipeline.
Acceleration waveforms for different terrain (concrete vs grass) for fatigue from fresh to exhausted.
